Cost Planning, Estimating and Validation, with a strong commercial management is a crucial endeavour of any construction projects life cycle; through concept, feasibility, option selection and development, through to procurement and subsequent construction phases.
All earlier stages require a budget and an audit trail of the evolution of the budget through design development. A budget needs validating through each design stage to provide confidence in its value, and a client’s ability to afford the scheme.
Over 25 years of industry experience in both the private and public sectors with a broad knowledge of cost management across a wide variety of construction disciplines within the fields of Aviation, Rail & Metro.
Tony Minihane is a Director with a wealth of experience throughout the cost life cycle of a project, with experience on many £B+ UK and International Programmes. He is a confident and diligent Client and Stakeholder manager and holds several key accounts currently. His cost management knowledge is relevant through all early stages of a programme where he consistently manages commissions from concept, feasibility through to detailed design. Tony has also managed project controls from both pre and post contract perspectives.
He has worked on many high value, high profile programmes both UK and in the Middle East, where he has consistently and successfully delivered outputs to exhaustive programme milestones throughout a project life cycle whilst growing and maintaining relationships with Clients, Stake Holders, Peers and Staff. Tony prides himself on consistent repeat business and thrives on new challenges to win business in an ever growing market.
Tony’s vision is to create long term collaborative partnerships with major clients, thus offering a synergy with ever increasing development of service and reliability, which in turn provides the best fluidity of service for a client along the life cycle of a construction programme. Creating a truly cohesive and extensive professional service cascading from the conception to the completion of a major construction programme is our goal, for every client at every stage.
Tony is also responsible for the continual development of unit cost modelling, data analysis, and benchmarking. This has grown as a service within his current client base and has become best practice for long term planning and budgeting, in conjunction with social economic feasibility studies for future Master-planning.
