Tony experience in the Aviation sector started in 1999 when he worked for the Gatwick Airport Tier 1 Commercial Consultant TH Kenyon & Sons. The business manage maintenance for the entire airport and construction projects up to a value of £250k, and the chance to tender for work under the framework for projects over £250k. Since then experience with the Aviation sector has grown exponentially having been involved with many major aviation schemes through planning and feasibility to tender stage. Working with Airport master planners and designers such as Arup, HOK, Aecom and NACO, and having worked on both sides of the line (Client and Contractor) we are able to offer accurate and pertinent advice on undertaking work in the public environment (Landside) and the airside environment both inside a terminal and on the Apron. Risks to programme will relate mainly to having undertaken sufficient planning for activities, both in terms of gaining all the required approvals, and stakeholder buy in to the potential restrictions in forming a worksite in an public environment.
Some of the major programmes Tony has been involved with are?
London Gatwick Airport expansion and second runway (Cost Planning and Estimating for input into the Davis Report)
King Khaled International Airport Expansion (Concept design, Reference design, Tender)
New Doha International Airport (NDIA) Construction (Project Controls, Post Contract) Now called Hamad International Airport
Hamad International Airport - phase 2 (expansion), (Concept design and Optioneering, Cost Planning)
Dubai Terminal 2 - expansion (Cost Management)
Upon completion of an Estimate or Tender evaluation we will model the costs to establish the key areas of cost as shown below.
